Canon ATSP Dealership Recognition Program

This Dealership Recognition program is for Canon Copier dealers whose service professionals are certified with current ATSP Certifications as of January 1st of each year. This award is issued to dealership locations whose number of Technicians and System Engineers with current, unexpired ATSP Certifications are 75% or more of the total number of their Technicians and Systems Engineers.

When a Canon customer sees the ATSP logo, they can be assured that the technician responding to their call has the highest industry standard of service certification and manufacturer-backed training to effectively solve any problem!

About ATSP

ATSP enables Canon Authorized Dealership personnel to differentiate themselves and their organization from competitors in their marketplace. Through ATSP Certification, Canon Authorized Service Professionals can verify their level of Canon product service and support skill and distinguish themselves from other individuals and imaging solutions providers.

Canon U.S.A. is the only Imaging Solutions Provider offering exams and certifications that are challenging, rewarding, and relevant to the business of delivering service and support on today's office imaging products.

The Association of Technical Service Professionals was introduced in 1991. By the end of its first decade, just over 14,000 exams had been delivered with nearly 3,500 achieving passing scores. ATSP transitioned to a certification-based program during 2000. Since that time, over 12,000 Certification exams have been taken, with more than 5,000 exams resulting in Certification.

Those who earn certification honors are eligible for recognition of their accomplishment in Canon publications, on the e-Support website, and during Canon events. Each Certification is recognized by a letter from Canon's Vice President and General Manager of the Systems & Technical Support Division, and a Certificate of Accomplishment. Certain first time honorees are also eligible for an ATSP lapel pin. The greatest recognition does not come from Canon however, it comes from the honoree's peers, management, and customers.
