Rounding out Canon's Color Cut-Sheet production solutions portfolio, the new imagePRESS C800 Color Digital Press Series is comprised of the imagePRESS C700 and imagePRESS C800 color digital presses that deliver advanced levels of print quality, efficiency and versatility in both commercial and in-house print environments.
In a small but scalable footprint, these devices can print a wide range of media including heavyweight, coated stocks and envelopes, at a high-level of consistent quality and productivity: up to 70 impressions per minute for the imagePRESS C700 and up to 80 impressions per minute for the imagePRESS C800. These color digital presses can flexibly handle the most diverse print applications from short runs to complex variable data printing, transaction printing and automated, "hands-off" print production.
The imagePRESS C800 Series boasts several new features, including:
- CV Toner produces exceptionally vibrant images on a wide variety of media.
- Compact Registration Module helps ensure that images are placed in the same location for each sheet for high-quality results.
- A 32 beam red Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL) with multiple-exposure technology delivers 2400 x 2400 dpi resolution and allows customers to choose from a selection of versatile screen patterns.
- New Auto Correct Color Tone and Enhanced Auto Gradation Adjustment for multidimensional mixed color calibration. The imagePRESS C800 Series reliably delivers high-quality, stable output with minimal operator intervention. In addition to automatic real-time calibration, the system provides users with tools to cut down on calibration time and achieve repeatable, predictable output.
